New Spell Added, Sprinting, and Bug Fixes
Hello everyone! In this first update, I have added a new spell, a thunder spell. Casting it causes a lightning bolt to rain down on your enemy. However, you must be locked on to an enemy for the spell to take effect. Nothing will happen if you cast the spell without being locked on to a target. In addition to this, I have also added a sprint feature and the ability to change the direction of your attacks when you're not locked on. You can now hold down left shift on keyboards or the left stick on controllers to sprint around the battlefield. Hopefully, all these new features will make the prototype feel more substantial. The visuals of the sky have also been slightly improved. I have big plans for this demo in the future, I'll be adding all sorts of features and expanding it so it more resembles the final product. Bug Fixes/Misc Changes
- Jump Attacks now work consistently
- There was a slight chance of dying without playing the death animation this has been fixed
- Hitboxes are now more consistent
- Some slight performance improvements
- The lock-on button was been changed from shift to middle mouse
